*le sigh* :3
Oh, life is cruel when such a beautiful coat exists in the world and I can't afford it. In fact, I probably won't ever be able to afford it because it's not 'expensive' so much as 'I'm so expensive I made the other coats cry'.

£1000 ($2000 USD or thereabouts) from Oli.co.uk. Life can be cruel to fashionistas, but alas, we must move on. :(

I can see this being worn by Nana (Osaki), Yukari and quite possibly even Isabella, with a nice brooch and big gown underneath. What do you all think? :)

It's so sad that a coat worth £100 AT BEST is sold at a whooping £1000. Those poor, illegal Chinese workers. I could afford it but I'm completely against buying overpriced, designer clothing. Makes me nauseous...
Though I do agree with you on the fact that it would suit well Nana O. or Yukari! :D

Actually I think it was made by an independent designer for a fashion show, so there's probably only one or two of them available anyway.

I don't mind paying out a little extra for quality goods, designer or not, but I don't know if I could ever bring myself to spend that much on one item.

I agree~ I could never bring myself to spend that much even if I could on a coat, but I have nothing against people who does. Making cloth can be as much of a art form as painting, so it could be worth $2000 just as paintings can.

And as a Chinese immigrant, I really don't get how overpriced items would hurt underpaid workers, the costumers are the ones getting ripped off. Plus, I doubt anything that's worth that much is made by "poor, illegal Chinese workers" anyways.

The coat is lovely, I love how you could make it work on even Isabella with the right accessories :) I think is much more of a signature Nana O. look though. I can see Layla in it too, since it's got a bit of that English thing going on too.
